Summary:

The three pigs book take a twist to the original tale that we all have heard. The three pigs decide to attempt to live in their own houses that they made themselves. One house was made out of straw , the other was made of sticks, and the final home was made of bricks. The big bad wolf come to blow the houses down and eat the pigs for lunch. When he enters he seems not to be able to find the pigs. Before he blew down the last house the story took a complete different twist. The pigs found themselves in another story. The three pigs found themselves in two other books. The pigs decide it is time to go back home. With the help of their new friends, the pigs are able to resume their story and defeat the big bad wolf. The three pigs and their new friends finally sit down and enjoy their dinner together.


Strength:

There are many different versions of the story of the three little pigs but this version had a completely different twist. This book takes visual narrative to a new level. By introducing different stories in one the readers is allowed to expand their imagination. By adding the other characters it teaches the reader that uniting with other friends no matter how different you are yo u can defeat evil.
