Summary:

One night Max put his wolf costume on and create some chaos. His mother got upset, sent him to his room without eating. One night his room started turning in to a forest. He then sees a boat appears in the water and takes him to where the wild things are. There in the forest, Max became the king of all the wild things. Max then sends the monsters to bed, and with all the quietness, he realizes that he is lonely, and he misses his home and family. Max then decides to leave his kingdom to go to where he is loved. When he went home, he went to his bedroom and ate his hot supper.


Strength:

This book has a very funny story and the illustrations help the reader understand the story. This nook teaches the children that even though your parents get mad at you and discipline you they do it out of love.
