Sweet, M. (1992). Fiddle-i-fee. New York: Little Brown and Company.

Summary:

The book is a rhyming story about a child who sees a lot of different animals at a farm. The animals please the child starting with the cat and ending with the cow. It then goes through each animal, forming a parade and the sound they make, giving the story a musical effect to it.

Strength:

The students will like that it was a musical effect to like the song Old McDonald. The animal illustrations are cute to look at. The students will enjoy reading the book and making in words into a song.
